What are Dentures?
Dentures are replacements for missing teeth that can be taken out and put back into your mouth. Dentures take time getting used to and will never feel exactly the same as one’s natural teeth. There are two main types of dentures: full and partial.
Crowns and Bridges
Crowns and bridges are used to restore and enhance teeth that are damaged or to take the place of missing teeth. A crown (also referred to as a cap) is used to entirely cover a damaged tooth. A crown not only strengthens a tooth, but it can dramatically improve a tooth’s appearance, shape and alignment.
What is a Root Canal?
A root canal is a treatment used to repair and save a tooth that is badly decayed or becomes infected. During a root canal procedure, the nerve and pulp are removed and the inside of the tooth is cleaned and sealed. Without treatment, the tissue surrounding the tooth will become infected and abscesses may form.
Mouth Gaurds
When a child begins to participate in activities and organized sports, injuries can occur.
Teeth Bleaching
Take Home Whitening Gels are delivered by the use of customized bleaching trays, Your dentist will create this tray from an alginate impression of your mouth; this is partly why take Home Whitening Gels are so effective.
Oral Health and Pregnancy
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) recommends that all pregnant women receive oral healthcare and counseling during pregnancy. Research has shown evidence that periodontal disease can increase the risk of preterm birth and low birth weight. Talk to your doctor or dentist about ways you can prevent periodontal disease during pregnancy.
