As soon-to-be-moms whether to breastfeed is one of the first big decisions we make for our baby. We know that breastfeeding is preferred and recommended by health professionals. The Academy of Pediatrics recommends breastfeeding exclusively for the first six months and then breastfeeding with complementary foods being introduced for up to one year or longer.
