Job Title: EMT in Medical Clinic Setting
Location/s: Alamosa – Convenient Care Community Clinic
Position Type: PRN vacancies
Pay Range: Hourly – Min: $15.00 – Max: $18.21 (based on qualifications and experience)
($1.00/hour shift differential for weekday hours worked after 5:00 p.m. and weekend hours)

To provide pro-active clinical support while assisting the provider in meeting patient care, including follow up, exam room set up and meeting organizational goals. Primary clinical duties include checking in patients, taking vitals, administering medications, assessing patient needs, screening patients by administering COVID-19 questionnaire, witnesses hands-free temperature monitoring or conducts temperature screen. Prepare and process patient specimens and samples according to departmental procedures using standard techniques and equipment. Verify and record appropriate collection information on laboratory documentation and record any contact with patients in chart. Perform point of care testing and treatments according to established protocol. Responsible for reviewing lab and other reports administering proper follow through. Prepare and administer medications.
Clinic’s 7–day work week schedule includes evening hours, weekends and holidays.

Required Experience & Skills:
One year of clinical experience.
Knowledge of equipment and technology using in the nursing area
Required Education: High school diploma and graduation form an accredited NREMT certification program.
NREMT certification program.
