Job Title: Health Information Management Systems (HIMS) – Support Staff

Pay Range: Hourly – Min: $13.00 – Max: $15.00 (based on qualifications and experience)

Position available in Imaging Control Systems at our ASB location. Primary responsibility of the position is to provide centralized, proactive records management support to VWHS clinics. This will include maintenance of patient Electronic Health Record, transfer and maintenance of Protected Health Information, scanning from paper to EMR and verifying the completion and accuracy of data input and ICS filing into each electronic health record.
Must foster a culture of patient and family centered care, service, quality and safety excellence, while improving patient experience, employee experience and community relations.
Required Experience & Skills:
Qualified candidate will have two years of experience working in a medical or dental clinic setting. Must have the ability to work independently, have a high level of accuracy paying close attention to detail, knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA and intermediate use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience with electronic health records is preferred.
Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
