Dr. Mullen was born and raised in Madison, a small town in Virginia. She is the oldest of five kids, all home-schooled. Dr. Mullen’s mom is a physical therapist and her dad is a brick mason. While in undergrad and med school she spent summers doing masonry labor. Following medical school, Dr. Mullen moved out to Colorado with her fiancé.
Dr. Mullen chose family medicine because she loves working with her hands and performing procedures. She wants to practice full-scope rural family medicine, and be able to take care of everyone from babies to the elderly. Some of her hobbies include snowboarding, mountain biking, road biking, triathlons, hiking, swimming, running and binge-watching South Park. She’s also a craft beer enthusiast!
Dr. Amanda Mullen is a current Rural Training Track Resident, and will complete her residency in Summer 2021.
