Dr. Amanda Swanson was born and raised in rural Colorado. After medical school in Saint Louis she knew she wanted to provide health care in rural areas so she returned home. She has spent time in third world countries and has experienced first hand how important professional medical care is there. She loves delivering babies, and taking care of people who might not be able to afford health care with special interest in C-sections, women’s health as well as HIV and Hepatitis C care.
Amanda enjoys hiking, sewing, reading, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
