Dr. Joshua (Josh) Rusk is a Midwesterner by origin but never looked back after discovering the West and the mountains as an early teenager. He believes that healthcare is a human right and thinks that supporting the community health center model is our first step as a society to ensuring all people have access to excellent healthcare.
Josh was an engineer for a few years, but missed the connection with people. He says working in Family Practice is like being a ‘jack of all trades, master of none which never seems to be boring’. Josh really enjoys prenatal care and obstetrics, medication assisted treatment, and general full-scope family practice especially in an underserved population because of the diversity in patients, language and culture.
Outside of medicine, he has many interests. In his words “too many interests.” His wife Brianne who works in education and their yellow lab Canyon love to be outside skiing, biking, boating, fishing camping, and photographing. He is also an avid DIY-er.
