Tamera Valentine, LMFT, LAC

Tamera Valentine, LMFT, LAC

Tamera Valentine, who goes by Tami, lives on a cattle ranch in Conejos County with her husband and their four children. Tami chose to pursue a degree in behavioral health because she has seen the need for these services in the rural communities she has lived in. She is dedicated to helping provide access to behavioral health care in underserved communities.

As a behavioral health provider, Tami wants to provide support, education, and encouragement to her patients as they strive to be the healthiest they can be. She advocates for her patients to feel empowered in their own healthcare. Tami makes sure to honor their backgrounds, cultures, and stories as she helps them through the journey of health and well-being.

In her free time, Tami enjoys running, working on her ranch, training horses, playing the piano and art.
